Beer prices in shops
If you want to buy beer in a regular grocery shop, Poland and Krakow are among the cheapest European destinations for this type of shopping. How much is a beer cost in a shop in Poland?
The beer depends on the quality of beer you choose. Cheap beer like Harnaś or Żubr costs from 2 to 2.50 PLN (0.45-0.55 EUR or 0.40-0.50 GBP) in a large-format grocery store such as Biedronka, Lidl, Carrefour or Auchan.

Beer prices in pubs and restaurants
If you want to drink beer in a pub or restaurant, you have to expect slightly higher prices, but again, everything depends on the class and location of the establishment and what kind of beer you want to drink.

In good restaurants and high-class clubs, the price of beer may range from 13 to 20 PLN (2.90-4.45 EUR or 2.50-3,80 GBP).
To sum up: Poland is not one of the most expensive countries in Europe, thanks to which the price of beer in shops here is one of the lowest among the European Union countries. Beer prices in pubs are not the highest either, but it is worth remembering that in the centres of tourist destinations it is even 100% more expensive than further away from the city centre.
